I like this console. It looks nice, is very sturdy and was easy to assemble with two people in about 2 hours.
It is heavy!
The only negative comment I have is that the shelves are not high enough to store a DVD case upright. All of my dvds have to sit on their long dimension to fit into the unit.

Buyer beware
Bought this 6 weeks ago. Came in with busted parts, scratched parts and missing pieces. I contacted the company. They sent replacement parts, some still missing, contacted them again. They say they will take care of it but in the mean time they want me to keep and 6' box that it came in and keep sending pictures. No a happy camper so far, I am still waiting to see. They offered me my money back but I want the cabinet. Its well designed and functions perfect if all the parts are fixed.
Not as advertised
This item is not solid wood construction. Cam locks break easily upon assembly. Seems cheap for the price.
Making matters worse, the item was shipped with incomplete parts. One of the wood panels was missing. A front sliding door was scratched and missing hardware. Screws included for assembly were damaged.
Go to Ikea. Spend less money and get something a little nicer.
