Much better than included mattress
The original mattress that came with the co-sleeper is plasticy and crinkles. It also had off gassing that smelled like a new plastic shower curtain. This one is soft, doesn't smell, and breathes. I'm glad I got this when I purchased the co-sleeper. Only one problem, when you put on the fitted sheet the mattress buckles a little and causes a small ridge. My baby doesn't seem to mind, but if it were me, I wouldn't be able to sleep comfortably with a ridge in my back.

Fits pack n play
I am so happy with this purchase. I wanted an organic mattress to fit my pack n play (the Naturepedic portacrib mattress measurements are about two inches too short across the width of the pack n play) so I was very happy when I found this mattress and realized it would probably fit. This mattress is about an inch and a half longer than the pack n play mattress, so it pushes out the mesh sides of the pack n play a little, but still fits nicely. I use the Naturepedic organic flat waterproof portacrib pad and portacrib sheet over the mattress.
Pricey but worth it
Glad I found this for my son before he was born. I would not feel comfortable with him on the original co-sleeper mattress made with flame resistant chemicals!
